Description:

This job will be a good fit for students who are interested in a career that involves citizen science, outdoor education, science education, pollinator biology, or native plants. The job itself is to assist the faculty and staff on the SUU Earthwatch Program, which is a program that bring citizen scientist volunteers to Utah to assist with field data collection. Duties will include driving field vehicles, developing ice-breaker activities, helping citizen scientists in the field and at their lodgings, data collection and management, distribution of meals, and any other support needed by faculty and staff. Opportunities to become more deeply involved will be made available as indicated by the applicant's background, drive, and interests.

Qualifications:

Independent thinking, interest in science and teaching, ability to drive a vehicle, and First Aid Certification is a bonus.
